Health Screening

Do you suffer from the following:

  • Digestive problems

  • Weight problems

  • Tiredness

  • Skin issues.

These are some of the symptoms patients attend our clinic with. An hours screening could seriously change your life.

Please consult your doctor if you experience symptoms that may become anaphylactic shock, such as itchy rash, throat or tongue swelling, shortness of breath, vomiting or low blood pressure.

The Screening

Your intolerance test will give you an instant result on over 150 food and environmental substances plus vitamin and mineral screening.

With regards to foods, the test we offer is a food sensitivity test and not a replacement for an allergy test such as skin prick, skin patch and/or blood test.

When anaphylactic systems have been identified or are suspected, a referral to hospital (via the GP) is necessary to do the above tests (Addenbrooke’s hospital for example). The intolerance test completed by Samantha is in no way a replacement of these hospital tests.

If you have any questions concerning the above please contact us.

Common Questions And Answers

Is there anyone who cannot be screened?

Yes, anybody fitted with a pacemaker or cochlear ear implant is unable to have the screening.

How long does it take for results to come through?

Results are instant and will be compiled for you to take away at the end of the one hour session.

Does it hurt?

The screening is non-intrusive and generally completely pain free. However part of the screening does include pressing a probe onto your finger or hand which can be tender. If this is the case, the probe can be moved to a different position.

Can children be screened?

Yes, as long as the child has been weaned onto solid foods.

Will I need more than one treatment?

We recommend that you return for a follow up screening after two months so that we can monitor your progress and advise on the safe reintroduction of foods into your diet.

Will I have to give up certain foods altogether?

Usually, we will compile your own personal elimination programme with a view to reintroducing possible foods back into your diet after two months - if appropriate.

Will it affect any medication I'm taking?

This is a completely safe therapy that combines with traditional medicine.

What do I need to know before attending my first appointment?

It is very important that you are well hydrated before you attend your screening appointment with plenty of water, not tea, coffee or caffeine drinks.

If you are taking any Antihistamine medication please stop it 24 hours prior to your screening, as soon as the screening is complete the medication can be resumed.

It is also important to bring along with you any medication you are regularly taking.

If, during your screening, you feel that the probe pressing onto your finger is uncomfortable please let your therapist know, it can easily be moved to another area.

After completing your screening the therapist may suggest a course of supplements of appropriate dosage to assist with any mineral or vitamin deficiency. These are calculated as an additional cost to your treatment charge which will be explained to you.

Any further pre-treatment questions you may have please do not hesitate to contact the clinic.
