Pierre Antoyé

Proprietor | Osteopath | BSc (Hons) DO.

Pierre started working at Orchard Clinic after graduating in 2007. He initially thought he’d only stay in England for a few years…..but he’s still here!

Pierre was born and grew up in the countryside near Lyon, France. He had always been fascinated by osteopathy from a young age as it seemed a magical way to help someone naturally, limiting the use of medication. He loved the idea that someone could simply stand in front of an Osteopath who would read the person’s body and life story, in the same way as you would read a book. It seemed that osteopaths could see and feel things that others couldn’t.

He loves the variety that osteopathy brings to his working life, with no two cases ever the same!

Pierre treats many conditions from all ages, activities and professions staying true to the osteopathic motto: “To keep you younger for longer”. His love for treating adults, babies and animals is now pretty well known. He is especially good at treating babies, children and pregnant mums, including areas such as tongue-tie, and has had much success in doing so since 2006.

Having also specialised in animal osteopathy, Pierre has had considerable success working with animals, particularly dogs and horses and treats many each week. It’s a great way to help animals with spine pain and lameness.

“As we all know animals don’t speak as such, however they do communicate and if we listen to their symptoms and body language, we can help”.

Working on animals has taught Pierre to be very accurate with his hands (feeling palpations) and observations. Those skills are crucial to helping babies too.

Pierre had always wanted to own a multidisciplinary clinic where practitioners interact and work together, recommending each other’s complementary skills to help clients return to health. His dream came true in 2017, when Pierre became the owner of The Orchard Clinic Thrapston.

Running it proficiently takes plenty of his time , but he has great support from his team. Pierre works closely with all of the time, often referring patients for intolerance testing, herbal medicine or podiatry.

He looks forward to developing Orchard Clinic further, helping each practitioner to progress within their field and within the clinic. He feels lucky to have an amazing reception and osteopathic team who maintain the very high standards of the practice.

When not practicing osteopathy, Pierre is found either walking his dog, Tula, somewhere near a horse, a classic car, exercising, on a mountain bike….or in a restaurant! He loves food!
