What to expect from your first and any subsequent treatments

The first consultation takes an hour, the practitioner will take a medical history, do an assessment and provide treatment. Any subsequent treatments are also for an hour and are mostly dedicated to treatment, with a brief reassessment at the beginning of the session. It is also common for the practitioner to provide advice on suitable remedial and rehabilitation exercises for stretching and strengthening to further enhance recovery and help prevent injury and musculoskeletal problems in future.

What to wear

In order for the practitioner to properly assess you and to provide the required level of treatment, it is advisable to wear shorts or suitable underwear.

When can I not have treatment?
